How did you get into makeup?

Some of my fondest memories as a little girl involve make up and drawing. I’ve always been intrigued by the power of makeup and the many ways it could be manipulated to achieve one’s definition of beauty. I imagined my career path would involve the arts, even during my undergraduate studies while I pursued a degree in Psychology. I was always that friend in college that all the girls would ask to do their makeup before parties, or volunteering to do makeup for our school’s fashion show. After graduating college and still haven’t identified by true passion in life, I began to take classes offered by MAC Cosmetics. That is when I finally came to the realization that my true passion was make up artistry. I always knew that to be true but had never considered it as a career until that point. Soon thereafter, I applied and got hired as a freelance makeup artist at MAC and quickly moved up in the company to become a counter Manager and Trainer. After marrying my college sweetheart and the love of my life in 2018, I made the decision to leave MAC for an opportunity that allowed for a better work life balance so we can start a family. That was the best decision I ever made, as it allowed me to become a mother of three and begin my journey as an entrepreneur. Kristen Fiori is my kindred spirit, and everything aligned immediately after we met. We share the same vision and passion for our makeup artistry, and I am thrilled to be part of this team that has positively impacted me both professionally and personally.
