Meet Kristen
How did you get into makeup?
I’ve loved makeup for as long as I can remember and started doing makeup on others when I was in middle school! I’ve always had a creative side to me and makeup was that creative outlet that I fell in love with. I always knew I wanted to do makeup in some capacity but didn’t know it was possible to be a full time makeup artist. So I went to college for accounting (complete opposite, I know LOL) and was planning on being a CPA and doing makeup on the weekends. That only lasted a year and then I dropped out and started working full time in a salon. After building up my clientele I made the leap and started my own business in 2017 and have been doing makeup full time ever since! Little Kristen would be so happy and so proud of how far we have come!
What’s your favorite part about being a makeup artist?
So many things!! I love that I’m always going to new places. I love meeting new people. I love getting to be creative. I love running a business. And most importantly, I love getting to make others feel beautiful! I truly see beauty in every person and it really is the best feeling when I can make someone else see the beauty in themselves that I saw all along.
What’s your favorite makeup trend or style?
My favorite makeup style is what I like to call natural glam. I think it’s the perfect mix of flawless and enhanced but without being overdone. It’s timeless, classic, and enhances each person’s unique beauty!
I’m also a BIG fan of a bold lip… If you couldn’t already tell from my headshots LOL

Favorite Drink: Any kind of sweetened/flavored iced latte with any plant based milk
Hobbies: I love spending time with my family and my furry child, Paisley! I also love gardening, cooking, drawing, creating content, and spending time outside.
